Q108414: How Do I Search for a File on My Computer?
Description

If errors occur during installation, you may need to determine if files are missing or where they are located on your computer. You may want to check the distribution media, such as the CD. This article provides instructions on how to search for files.

If you receive an error referencing a specific file, search the Common Errors page. If you cannot find the error in Consumer Central, see the Who to Contact page for instructions on contacting your software vendor for immediate assistance.
